As the weather gets warmer and colourful blooms start popping up across the city, there's no better time to dive into the gorgeous and fragrant world of wedding flowers. In this floral showcase, collected from the weddings we had the joy of capturing last spring, we hope to evoke some inspiration for your own wedding flowers. So let's dive into the beauty of spring blooms and discover the florals that will adorn your wedding day!
Nature's Beauty
The first spring flowers we'd like to highlight were from Madeleine & Jeff's wedding last March. Susanne from Wildflowers & Co combined seasonal locally sourced florals and classic roses to create spectacular nature-inspired arrangements. She collected shades of whites, pear greens and blush pinks with a touch
of deep plum that added a modern flair to the colour palette. The separate spherical clusters of flowers along the chuppah with cascading vines down the sides
created a look of playfulness and sophistication. Susanne's floral designs are not only sustainable but they're also unique and wonderfully stunning.
Ethereal Ambiance
Next, we appreciate the delicate and light florals showcased at Felicia and Adam's wedding last April. R5 Event Design created elegant and classic floral arrangements featuring all-white flowers. The chuppah was a masterpiece with huge bustles of white roses, peonies and inflorescence
decorating the front with daffodils
loosely adorned down the sides, giving the illusion of floating petals. The table centrepieces featured white roses surrounded by baby's breath. The small pop of black in the centre of the white anemones created a sophisticated arrangement that complimented the surrounding napkins and chairs. With these exquisite floral designs, R5 Event Design lived up to their award-winning name.
Classy Cuts
We also wanted to take a moment to appreciate the timeless bouquets at Taylor & Alex's wedding last April. Jackie-O Floral Design created the most stunning white long-stem rose bouquets. These perfectly cut flowers created classy and
polished accessories for the
bride and her bridesmaids. Each bundle was immaculately arranged and identical to its counterparts. Jackie-O Floral, known for their exceptional style and classic arrangements, added an element of chic and glamour to this romantic wedding day.
Colourful Creations
We can't discuss spring florals and not mention Jordyn and Adam's wedding last May. These flowers provided an absolute burst of colour and cheer to the day. Have A
Seat Events created spectacular bouquets and centrepieces and adorned the chuppah with an abundance of radiant blooms. A collection of deep pink and peach roses, baby blue delphiniums and
eucalyptus leaves, these bespoke arrangements
scream springtime romance. Have A Seat selected the finest flowers to create the most spectacular eye-catching arrangements that filled the room with brightness and joy.
Unique Artistry
Katie and Raz tied the knot under a chuppah that was absolutely dripping in organic and boho florals. White Oak Flower Co. created breathtaking arrangements of earthy colours capturing a vintage style with a modern
flair. The bouquet was stunning and incredibly unique, featuring whimsical curved stem flowers tied with a dreamy lace ribbon. White Oak Flower Co. crafted floral masterpieces that were creative and one of a kind.
These were just the flowers from last Spring, but we've seen countless gorgeous arrangements from all of our floral friends over the years. Be sure to check out some of these talented local florists too!
We hope that this has provided a range of inspiration for your wedding day to be as vibrant and enchanting as the springtime blooms showcased here.
