A Snowy Fairytale Wedding

Updated: Apr 22

As we enter the magical winter wedding season, we're reminded of a spectacular wedding we had the joy of capturing last year. Planned by the talented Anna Rinomato from Pure Event Design, every element reflected a snowy fairytale wedding. From the horse-drawn carriage to the glimmering branches lining the entranceway, this truly was a magical day celebrating the love of Joseph and Bianca.

Bride Getting Ready on Wedding Day

This storybook wedding began at Bianca's family home where we watched her get ready for the big day. She looked absolutely stunning with her makeup done by Sophia Delica. Plus what makes a bride feel more like a princess than a jewelled headband? Casey from Changes Hair Studio did an amazing job with this elegant updo. And you can't have a fairytale wedding without a princess ballgown. Bianca's off-the-shoulder rhinestoned dress with illusion long sleeves was pure elegance. The intricate lace detailing resembled frost patterns and her faux fur shawl added a touch of royalty.

Travelling in style was a necessity to embrace the full fairytale experience. Joseph rolled up to the ceremony in a luxurious Rolls-Royce. And what says fairytale more than a horse-drawn carriage? This one-of-a-kind Cinderella carriage from Fairytale Horse and Carriage certainly added a magical princess flair to Bianca's transportation.

After the ceremony, we went to the Harding Waterfront Estate for photos. The historic mansion and gorgeous estate grounds were the perfect backdrop to add a royal elegance to the day.

Then onto the reception hosted at Universal Event Space in Vaughan. This multi-use event space was the perfect setting to craft a

magical wintery atmosphere.

Winter Wedding Themed Reception

From the second you entered the room, you were transported into a fairytale land. The entranceway was adorned with sparkling branches and snowy drapes from Enzo Mercuri Designs.

The circles of light dancing on the walls and floor gave the illusion of falling snow and the Resin Crystal Chiavari Chairs from AS Special Events gave an ice-sculpted feel as if we were seated in an ice castle. The Blooming Iris created breathtaking floral arrangements that added a wintery

woodland essence to the decor. Their white blooms reflected beautiful puffs of snow on the tables and floor. Plus the glamorous candles from Yummi Candles created a warm and tranquil environment. The couple had a fog machine that created a mist over the dancefloor giving it an enchanted forest feel.

Wedding Cake

Even the bejewelled snowflake cake with silver branches complimented the magical winter theme.

And it was so wonderful to work alongside the wedding photographer Eric Benchimol who captured some breathtaking photographs of the day!

Every element of the wedding was meticulously thought out and came together to form a dreamlike experience. As the day came to an end and Bianca and Joseph rode off into the snow, they carried with them the warmth of their love and the memories of a winter fairytale wedding that truly was a happily ever after.
